This is a very factual and unembellished recounting of the author's 3 1/2 years as a Japanese prisoner of war in Thailand and vicinity during World War II, in part working on the construction of the infamous Burma railroad. It contains a wealth of documentation and should prove valuable to people interested in the era.Product details

Excellent first hand account
This was a very compelling story and well worth reading. I could not put the book down and is well worth reading.
A SUPER READ by a person who was there and lived to tell about the horrors inflicted
